Our tent.
Our team was composed of Katherine, Mathieu, myself and Dy, Michael and a few local guys. Towards the end we had a couple of crazy Canadians who joined the camp, doing a much larger exploration project for the whole area.

The offices.
The geology of the place was very confusing, with all sorts of metamorphism altering all the rocks, making it very difficult for us. We were looking for copper, so got a lot of very pretty minerals in our core (which was my job to log most of it).
As you can see in the photo, there was kilometers of the bloody stuff to look at!
While there we managed to get away to Kasane/Chobe for a weekend, which was great. Saw all sorts of game, had a lovely boat cruise and saw more game, while all I wanted to do was try and catch some fish. Lots of beer that weekend too. There waere six of us there, with 5 different nationalities: Katherine (Australia), Mathieu (France), Michael (South Africa), Linda (Finland), Dy (South Africa) and myself (Zim).
All of us on the river.
Buffalo
We also stole a day to go to the Sua Pans, which is just a whole bunch of nothing. But really amazing nothing! We even managed to get the truck stuck, about 20 km from the camp.
Mr Changs is a Chinese resaurant in Francistown which we managed to frequent, and had waaaaaaaay too much rice wine there (Mathieu managed to lose his passport the night before he was supposed to fly to France!)
And you can see why!
